List of New Hampshire State Parks
THE PICNIC PLACEMAT
From the top of the mountains with a 100 mile view to the beaches along the Atlantic,
to  trout filled lakes, New Hampshire State Parks have it all.  There are 39 State Parks
as well as numerous recreation areas, camping areas, and historical sites.  39 of the
State Parks have camping facilities.  Activities include hiking, fishing, swimming, nature
walks, winter sport, picnics, etc.
Dartmouth/Lake Sunapee Region - -
Five State Parks in this region.  Mountain
terrain and lakes makes this region ideal
for hiking.

Great North Woods Region - - Lots of
lakes for the avid fisherman as well a
campsites for RV or tent. Northernmost
part of the State.  Six State Parks.

Lakes Region - - Swimming, hiking,
picnics, and camping are all available in
this region.  Six State parks

Merrimack Valley Region - - Water
activities at the lakes and abundant
wildlife are the features of this region.  
Five State Parks

Monadnock Region - - Mountain hiking,
camping, and spectacular views are the
highlight of the five State Parks in the
Southwest part of the State.

Seacoast Region - - Four State Parks and
four State beaches are in this region that
hugs the Atlantic coast.  Saltwater fishing,
camping, sunbathing, and sea shell
gathering are all favorite activities here.

White Mountains Region - - High in the
White Mountains this region has eight
State Parks.  Hiking, nature walks, picnics,
and camping are all available here.  Be
prepared for some spectacular scenery.
