Mountain Climbing, White Water Rafting, Skiing, Cross Country Hiking, Fishing,
Camping, and Rock Climbing are just a few of the many activities that await the
visitor to the Idaho State Parks.  There are 26 State Parks in the State and each
one has its own unique character.  From the rugged mountains in the North with
its pristine lakes, and nature trails to the semi arid South and the majestic sand
dunes, the Idaho State Parks has something for everyone.  There are ample
camping facilities at most of the parks.  The Park System is divided into three
regions with a director assigned to each region for administrative purposes.  Here
