List of FLORIDA State Parks

From the Atlantic coast to the Gulf shores, from the panhandle to the Everglades,
and down to the Keys; Florida has a very extensive State Park system. Outdoor
activities abound in the State Parks for the recreational enthusiasts. Known for its
many camping sites, the Florida State Parks have become a winter destination for
the RV Snowbirds from the colder climates. Whether it is for a day trip or a
vacation destination, The Florida State Parks offer all the activities you could ask for.
The Florida State Parks are divided into five regions. Each
region has its own unique features. Click on a region for a
complete listing of parks, features, and services available.
Northwest
34 State Parks make up this region. 13 of these parks
have full camping facilities. The beautiful Panhandle of
Florida offers historical parks, beaches, rivers, lakes, and
much more.
Northeast
From a mile long fishing pier to a beautiful large parks
with hot spring and miles of hiking trails, the 40 State
Parks in the Northeast region has something for
everyone. There are 9 State parks with full camping
facilities.
Central
Stretching along the Atlantic coast and heading inland, the
Central region of Florida Parks system has 21 parks; 11
of which have full camping facilities. From playing in the
surf to hiking along the many miles of well maintain trails,
the Central region offers many outdoor activities
Southwest
The Southwest region extends along the Gulf coast and
inland. From wildlife preserves, to battlefields, or ocean
beaches, the Southwest region offers diversity and
outdoor activities for all. There are 33 parks in the
region, 9 of which have full camping facilities
Southeast
The Southeast region of the Florida Park system is
probably the most diverse of all the areas. From
underwater parks to parks within a swamp land, The
Southeast region is a vacation destination in itself. There
are 23 parks, 5 of which have full camping facilities
